Offline Activation

If the computer you wish to Activate is not online there are two (2) offline methods for Activation. One is for software that uses the Setup Wizard to Activate and the other where the Gateway is used to Activate the software. Each method is outlined below:

Gateway Activation - Offline
To Activate the software on a computer without an Internet connection is quite easy using the Gateway. You will only need access to the Internet from any other computer or even a smart phone. 

1. Click Activate and if the software cannot detect the Internet you will be given the option to Activate Offline
2. Click Offline Activation and a text file will open that contains a number that is unique to your computer. Write this number down, or copy the text file onto a USB flash drive.
3. Go to a computer or mobile telephone that is connected to the Internet and type in the link from the text file.
4. Type in: (i) your Product Serial Number (PSN) which was provided when the software was purchased, and (ii) the computer number, and click Next and an Activation Code will be issued.
5. Record (write down) the Activation Code, and go back to the computer that you wish to activate that is not connected to the Internet.
6. Click on Enter Activation Code (see figure 2 above) and enter the Activation Code and then click OK, and the software will now be activated and ready to use.

Tip: Restart the software to make certain the activation has been successful.
 

Setup Wizard Activation - Offline
To Activate the software on a computer without an Internet connection is quite easy using the Setup Wizard. You will need a USB flash drive and access to the Internet from any other computer.

1. If the computer you wish to Activate is not connected to the Internet click on the Help menu > Activate the software and the Setup Wizard will come up at the License Center.
2. Carefully follow the step-by-step instructions provided.
3. At then end of the wizard restart the software and it will be Activated.
