This is Windows reporting that the Printer’s USB Driver that was supplied with the Printer is malfunctioning. This is unrelated to the Software but will prevent it from operating the Printer.

This can normally be corrected by reinstalling the USB driver from the disc that came with the printer.

Another solution is to update to the latest driver for your cutter, as follows:

  1. Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  2. Right-click the Cutter’s icon and select Update Drivers.
  3. Tell Windows to search automatically and it will search online and locate the most recent drivers from the manufacturer. If it asks you to choose a driver, choose the one that appears in a deeper directory.
  4. The install process may begin all over again, but it should work correctly.

Note: You should restart Windows for the new settings to take effect.
