If you receive this error or or a similar message when opening, loading or running the Software there are a number of possible causes for this situation with an explanation and/or solution below:
A very common reason for this is:
So the first thing is to make sure you are logged-in as an Administrator in Windows with the same User Account that installed the software.
Antivirus and/or Antimalware
Some antivirus programs are isolating the software (i.e. sandboxing it). This means that the program cannot open correctly.
Make sure the Software has been marked as safe or quarantined with your antivirus and anti-malware software.
Note: If you are unsure how to do this, go to any search engine like Google and type in: How do I set a program as safe with *insert the name of antivirus program here* and click Search.
Run the effected .exe's as an Administrator. This is quite easy to do, as follows:
Open or go to this folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\FutureCorp\*name of program*\BinExe
(Substitute C:\ if you have installed to another drive with that drive's letter)
Then right click on these files, and click on Properties, next in the Compatibility tab select: Run as administrator and click Apply, then OK:
*name of program*.exe
(for example: AnyCut, CutStorm, DragonCut, DrawCut, SignMaster, RazorCut, VinylMaster etc.)
Once this has been done, close the software and the Vinyl Spooler, and click on the Help (menu) > Activate and the software should now remain activated.
