Relicensing (Reactivating) allows us to offer you a subscription or pay-off option so you can enjoy the software without having to pay up-front in full to use the software.
It also means we can be more flexible (less draconian) when it comes to hardware changes on your computer i.e. if you change a HDD or replace a motherboard for example the software will allow you to reinstall itself without you having to contact us and ask for permission - which was once the case.
