My artwork is Rotated and/or Mirrored?

The rotation and/or mirror can be set from the Vinyl Spooler. First make sure the cutter is switched on, has vinyl loaded and ready to cut a test file.

You can open the Vinyl Spooler from the File (menu) > Cut/Plot > Vinyl Spooler.

In the Vinyl Spooler, click on the: 

• Cutter (menu) > Configure Cutter.
• In the Device Settings window that comes up, click the Edit (menu) > Advanced.
• Next click on Units > Origin Mode (left side icons).
• You will now see a drop down selector inline with Origin Mode.
• In this selector you will see four options, each represents a rotation and mirror.

The default is X,Y however your cutter may cut in the correct position (as shown in the Preview tab of the Vinyl Spooler) using a different Origin Mode.

To test this, go back into the Vinyl Spooler and expand the Repeats folder on the left side and select Orientation test.

If this is unavailable type in a letter "F" in the Software and send this to the Vinyl Spooler to cut out. Cut out the orientation test or the letter "F" and if it is rotated or mirrored follow the steps above and try each of the other three Origin Modes until the letter "F" cuts correctly or the Orientation test number matches the selected mode in the list.
