All Software Downloads and mirrors are independently checked on a regular basis and continually pass a series of rigorous tests, so the odds of all the download servers being down is very small.

Notes
The Extras are up to 2Gb and will take up to 3 hours to download (depending on the service provider and the hardware being used). The main Program is up 500Mb and should take less than 30 minutes to download.

  • There must be at least 5Gb hard drive space available on the target computer to save the files to (to allow for file caching and swapping).
  • A stable broadband connection must be used that does not time out or be on a network that uses other devices likely to interrupt the download and cause errors.
  • Antivirus software on the target computer must be set to allow the file to be downloaded or temporarily switched off while downloading to avoid false positives being reported.
  • Screen savers and any other software that interrupts Windows may also interfere with a large download and cause errors.

Errors
If you receive an error or a file is corrupt message make certain that the above issues in the notes (above) have been attended to. Next, attempt downloading the file from another mirror (provided in the downloads links) which are on a separate servers located in another continent.

The odds of all mirrors failing at the same time is extremely small and would be reported by many users as these files are continually being downloaded. As such, the problem will most likely be with your service provider (stability and speed) and another provider should be used on another computer and the downloaded file saved to a USB drive or DVD and installed from there.

Examples of alternative downloads may be via a friend or colleague, an Internet Café or a Public Library.
